When an Executive Director leaves, many Boards go straight into crisis mode — especially if the departure was unplanned. That sense of urgency can lead to decisions they later regret:  Rushing to hire. Elevating the wrong (or unprepared) internal candidate. Letting Board members fill a role they were never meant to hold.  All of which can lead to incredible stress.

I step in before any of that happens.

I’m a certified Interim Executive Director. I specialize in the six-to-eight month window between your last leader and your next one — keeping operations stable, supporting your staff through the transition, and partnering with your Board to get crystal clear on where the organization is headed and what your next ED actually needs to look like.

    Individual Coaching plans have 3-phases:

    1.  A half-day mini retreat that allows you time to think, reflect about what you’d most like to get out of this experience
    2. A series (usually 3-4) 50 min coaching sessions at your own pace over  6-8 months, with emails and calls as needed. 
    3. A closing get together to celebrate your accomplishments!
